One of the oldest hotels in Newport has been fully refurbished and is now a city centre Wetherlodge, offering comfortable, convenient accommodation less than five minutes walk from both the railway and bus stations. The rooms are all en-suite, one of which has been equipped for disabled guests, and there are several function and meeting rooms available for hire.

The restaurant is a Lloyds No 1 bar, and serves a wide choice of food between 10am and 10pm (7am for lodge guests). The Bar is open from 10am till midnight Sunday to Tuesday, 10am till 1am Wednesday and Thursday, and 10am till 3am Friday and Saturday.

The function and training rooms will come online during August.
